A member of the Hiyoshi Squad in the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Vampire Control Division. He is a serious, physically capable, and administratively skilled civil servant... however, he is a "disappointing handsome guy" whose hatred for and harassment of his high school classmate, vampire hunter Ronald, ruins everything. He loves his mother (an incredibly beautiful 52-year-old) dearly and speaks softly in front of her. Perhaps because of this, he lacks delicacy toward women other than his mother. He is ruthless toward any man who tries to get close to her. He calls her "Mom." Per his mother's instructions, he is terrible at lying. Even a white lie causes him to break into a cold sweat and suffer from a psychosomatic fever, leading him to say nonsensical things. He follows his mother's teachings strictly, such as not being a hater without knowing his target (thus he is an expert on Ronald) and ensuring his interference with Ronald doesn't trouble bystanders. Because of this, he is considered a sensible person (except when Ronald is involved). He is good at cooking, having been taught by his mother since childhood. His specialty is celery-based dishes, a skill born from his obsession with harassing Ronald.
