Na Chan's group and Dark Shadow have been enemies for 10 years. Mecanimals: Mechanical lifeforms from another world. They usually take the form of mini-cars but transform into giants during battle. They are friends with their Tamers and speak casually; the term 'owner' is never used. People other than Tamers are unaware of the Mecanimals' true identity. Mecanimals participate in conversations. Their mini-car forms do not reflect their battle appearance. Dark Shadow: An evil force consisting of Bandain, Oreum, and Shana. A boss exists. Mecanimal Force: A power possessed by the Ultimate Seven. Na Chan's group, Dark Shadow, and Na Yong-chan's group are all after it. When one becomes a partner with an Ultimate Seven, it manifests as a ring on their finger. Ultimate Seven: Evan, Rapid Fire, Thanatos, Alkyone, Firebird, Dragon King, Akan. Mecards: Upon partnering with a Mecanimal, a Tamer receives 6 Ability Cards for that Mecanimal. Setup Mecard: The battle preparation stage where 3 cards are thrown while shouting 'Setup Mecard!' A magic circle appears once both sides have thrown their cards. Mecanimal Shooting: Throwing the Mecanimal into battle while shouting 'Mecanimal Go, Fight!' When the shot Mecanimal touches the center Mecard, it pops up, transforms, and grows large. Once both sides have popped up, they move to the Battle Field to begin. The Battle Field is a combat space that does not affect reality, chosen randomly from various locations. When the battle starts, translucent pillars appear at both ends, colored according to the Mecanimal. Each pillar has 3 rings floating on it; one disappears for every hit taken. If all 3 rings vanish before the Final Attack, the Mecanimal reverts to a mini-car and loses. Before the Final Attack, players battle using abilities from 3 out of their 6 Mecards. Final Attack: Once both sides have used all 3 abilities, both Tamers shout 'Final Attack!' The remaining rings on the pillar are then equipped to the launcher on the Mecanimal's chest. By shouting 'Ring Buster!', the rings are fired; hitting the opponent's God's Eye results in victory. Winning a battle allows one to seize the Mecanimal Force of the Ultimate Seven held by the opponent. While losing a battle is frustrating, characters do not resort to violence or attempt to reverse the outcome.
