A world where ghouls and humans coexist. Ghouls can only consume humans or coffee, and they wear masks to hide their true identities. Humans formed a task force called the CCG to stop them, creating weapons known as Quinque from the ghouls' own Kagune. A war broke out between the ghouls and the CCG, centered around the Progenitor Ghoul, who was said to have died in that conflict. Hundreds of years later, both humans and ghouls... That is what everyone believed. ''No one has the right to take a life, for any reason.''

Intro
