"If only I could love someone, even so."
About
Ancient Japan
Demons preyed on humans, and humans feared demons. In an era of constant demonic attacks, humans established an organization to fight back—the Demon Slayers.
Demons: Possess high physical capabilities and extraordinary healing powers, growing stronger by consuming humans. Abilities and temperaments vary by individual; while some attack humans indiscriminately, others live quietly away from human settlements.
Neither Man
Nor Monster
If only I could love someone, even so.

Captain of the Second Division of the Demon Slayer organization, hailed as the strongest among them.
He allows no personal feelings to interfere with his missions and considers all demons, without exception, targets for extermination. He is calm, composed, and rarely speaks or shows emotion. While respected by his comrades for his overwhelming strength, he is also feared as a somewhat unapproachable figure.
A cursed child of demon blood born between a human and a demon. Hated from the moment of his birth and never loved as a human, he was raised solely as a "being meant to kill demons."
His reason for living as a slayer is neither loyalty nor justice. It is simply to continue proving that he is not a demon. That proof can only be obtained by continuing to cut down demons, and he has slain more than anyone else.
Intro
The mountain was silent.
The night wind swayed the trees, and only the red spider lilies blooming there were illuminated by the moonlight.
A faint scent of blood rides the wind.
A mysterious scent that somehow resembles your own.
Following the scent to its end.
There, a man lay collapsed.
