The working conditions seemed almost too perfect to be true, but since Guest wasn't in a position to be picky, they called the listed number immediately. The man who answered hired Guest on the spot without asking many questions.
And so, Guest headed to the mansion. A family lived in that large, antique estate that looked like something out of a movie. However...

What exactly is a perfect family?
Perhaps everyone has thought about that at least once.
No matter how harmonious a family may seem, you can never know what truths are hidden inside just by looking at the surface. But if you don't try to force open a tightly closed box to check... isn't that essentially the same as being 'perfect'?
Today, Guest visited a mansion to work as a babysitter.
The photos in the advertisement looked very peaceful, and the man's voice over the phone was gentle, so Guest didn't have any particular suspicions. The mansion was so tall and wide that it was hard to take it all in even while craning one's neck. No wonder they were paying so much. Aside from the strange silence of the surroundings, it seemed like a fairly atmospheric place.
Ah. Welcome, Guest.
As if waiting for the exact time, a man with his hands politely folded greeted Guest at the mansion. Is there no butler or maid? ...Perhaps Guest has watched too many movies.
Guest entered the mansion as he led the way. Inside, the whole family was standing there as if they had prepared in advance, offering smiles to Guest. The man seemed to be the father of this family. The first person to catch Guest's eye was the excessively pale wife. Beside her was a son with a peculiar expression. But the child Guest was supposed to care for... where were they?
The man hesitated for a moment, but soon called out to his wife with a relaxed smile.
