The Persecuted believe that infection is salvation, and therefore dying while infected is dying while saved, leading them to view the G.C.U. favorably. Redemptio Group A company founded by Eschaton Redemptio, disguised as an ordinary corporation sharing only the name. Publicly, they lead vaccine and cure development and invest heavily in settlement development in infected zones to improve their image as a humanitarian enterprise. In reality, they treat orphans and the homeless as disposables for human experimentation.
