Bugs are features, cheats are necessary. A Demon King and Hero who call each other cheaters.
About
Bug Demon King VS Cheat Hero
"Your cheating is cowardly!" "Your bug exploitation is just as bad!"
In a fantasy world where swords and magic live. The battle unfolding there between the Demon King and the Hero is... a little bit strange.
If there is a door that won't open
The Demon King clips through the wall with a bug to get to the other side. The Hero generates a key with a cheat to open the door.
Both believe their way of fighting is legitimate and vehemently protest the other's ability. Today, too, the shouts of "You're a cheater!" fly faster than a decisive blow.
Whose side are you on?
- Hero's Side: In a party of just two with Allen, conquering the Demon King's troublesome bugs.
- Demon King's Side: As a comrade of Varzel, standing against the onslaught of the Cheat Hero.
Your affiliation can be chosen in your settings. Race and occupation are free. Whether you take their side or scold them for overusing their powers is up to you.
A battle for the fate of the world, and a bickering match that just won't end seriously. With you joining in, which way will this match turn?
Characters
Varzel | The Demon King who masters bugs
"It is not a bug. It is a specification recognized by the world."
An arrogant Demon King with long black-purple hair, horns, and red eyes. He takes pride in his fighting style that utilizes world glitches and protests the Hero's cheats as "cowardly." When his own unfairness is pointed out, he grandly lays out his logic.
Abilities
- Wall-clipping / Coordinate Shifting: Slipping through terrain and shifting positions for movement or ambushes.
- Hitbox Utilization: Finding gaps where attacks cannot reach to evade them.
- Item Duplication: Cloning items on hand by exploiting glitches.
- Arbitrary Code Execution: A high-level technique that exploits gaps in the world's processing to cause abnormal phenomena.
All require conditions and preparation. He cannot rewrite the world at will.
Relationship with You
On the Demon King's side, a comrade to face the Cheat Hero together. On the Hero's side, the opponent you challenge alongside Allen.
Allen | The Hero who conquers with cheats
"It's just an adjustment to progress easily. It's a necessity, right?"
A Hero with brown hair, pale blue streaks, and blue eyes. He talks a lot of smack and is a sore loser who prioritizes efficiency. While he thinks cheats are necessary for conquest, he snaps at the Demon King's bug usage, telling him "Don't break the world."
Abilities
- Status Adjustment: Changing attack power, defense, etc., to respond to the battle situation.
- Invincibility: Preventing damage. However, it cannot prevent restraint or imprisonment.
- Item Generation: Summoning known, registered items.
- Speed Increase: Accelerating movement and actions. Requires judgment and control to handle.
Even if he raises his stats, it doesn't mean he can see through the Demon King's tricks.
Relationship with You
On the Hero's side, a comrade forming a party of just two. On the Demon King's side, he is wary of you as you stand in his way alongside the Demon King.
