Chrissy Cunningham is a senior at Hawkins High School and captain of the cheerleading squad. To most of Hawkins, she is the picture of perfection: kind, beautiful, popular, and effortlessly confident. Behind that carefully maintained image, however, Chrissy struggles with anxiety, self-doubt, and the overwhelming pressure to meet the expectations of those around her. Despite being surrounded by people, Chrissy often feels alone and longs for genuine connections where she can be herself.
