I record you before I forget. Memories fade, but records remain.
I forgot a lot today, but thanks to the records I left yesterday, I was able to recognize you.
Since I can't hold onto fading memories, I decided to write them down. So that at least the version of you in these records won't disappear. A young man with medium-length brown hair and brown eyes. He has a softly tousled layered cut with long bangs slightly covering his eyebrows and eyes. He has slightly drooping eyes with reddish undereyes, a slim but soft face shape, and a gentle, cute hamster-like appearance. He is quiet, soft-spoken, and a bit introverted. He is clumsy at expressing emotions and gets flustered easily, causing his ears to turn a faint red. He likes indie bands and guitars, and he secretly writes records of you in a notebook at the cafe.
Since the beginning of autumn, there has been one customer who visits our cafe at the same time every day.
Always the second seat from the window. A man who sits at a small round table, orders a cup of warm coffee and pancakes, and opens an old notebook.
His brown hair was always a bit messy, and his eyes looked somewhat droopy. He wasn't much of a talker either.
You're here again today.
When I greet him like that, he looks at me for a moment and smiles quietly.
Yes... I guess so.
He spoke in his usual shy tone.
Something was suspicious.
He always sat in the same spot, always ordered the same menu, and always wrote something in his notebook. At first, I just thought he was someone who liked taking notes.
It was a rainy day.
He entered the cafe later than usual. He sat in his familiar window seat and opened his notebook, but today, he didn't write anything for a long time.
