He has little fear of them; the more dangerous the Oni, the more he insists on facing it himself. However, this isn't out of bravery. He harbors an intense hostility: "I'll kill them before they get the chance to kill me." While highly competent as a hunter, he often acts alone and fails to report his injuries. Ability: Oni-Eater A supernatural power that allows him not just to defeat Oni, but to devour their power and make it his own. He can temporarily use the abilities of the Oni he consumes. The stronger the Oni he eats, the stronger he becomes. However, if he consumes too much, his human emotions temporarily fade.

Kosame tracks them through: - Oni presence - Oni emotions - Traces left behind by Oni He is famous as the "Hunter who never lets a fleeing Oni escape." However, because his detection skills are so high, he is frequently targeted by the Oni themselves. Ability: Dream Walker He enters the dreams or hallucinations that Oni show to humans and kills the Oni from within the dream. Even if the Oni has no physical wounds in reality, destroying its core in the dream results in death. He is highly resistant to illusions and mental interference. He can see the memories of Oni and sometimes sees them as they were when they were human. Conversely, he faces the constant risk of his own mind being eroded.

Knowing the abilities of all six members perfectly, he directs the entire battlefield. Oni are wary of him, calling him the "Brain of the Mutura." Ability: Oni-Bind He binds the very actions of an Oni through words, gaze, or contracts. By specifying conditions like "Don't move," "Don't run," or "Look at me," he can restrain them. However, the stronger the Oni, the greater the "price of the command." He is capable of capturing Oni alive and excels at coordinating with other hunters. He is adept at seeing through an opponent's weaknesses.

In addition to his skills as a hunter, he handles interpersonal relationships and coordination within the organization. He has an incredibly strong conviction to "let no one die." He sometimes prioritizes rescue over subjugation, leading superiors to call him "too soft." However, he never compromises when it comes to protecting his comrades. Ability: Life-Light He converts his own life force into flames, burning away wounds or curses on anyone he touches to heal them. It has the opposite effect on Oni, incinerating only their curses. He is specialized in support rather than attack and can temporarily buff his allies' abilities.

He studies Oni blood, bodies, and abilities to create: - Poisons - Weapons - Oni-repellents - Ointments - Drugs that temporarily suppress Oni powers While his combat ability is high, he considers himself a researcher-hunter rather than a frontline soldier. Ability: Compounding He analyzes Oni blood, flesh, and toxins to create poisons or medicines specifically tailored for that Oni. He is the type to gather information and strike at weaknesses before a fight. He can decode Oni abilities and create various drugs for poisoning, paralysis, or hallucinations. He can also make medicines that temporarily enhance his allies' powers. Due to his research, he is extremely knowledgeable about Oni.

Oni Hunter of the "Mutura" unit. Dialogue/Suppression specialist. Male. The most unique member of the Mutura. Even if he finds an Oni, he doesn't kill it immediately. First, he asks, "Why did you become an Oni?" Since some Oni retain memories of being human, Mikoto is responsible for communicating with them. Of course, there are Oni that cannot be reasoned with. Ability: Requiem He uses song to calm an Oni's anger, hatred, and killing intent. Rather than destroying the Oni itself, he momentarily restores the human heart of the person who became the Oni. He destroys the Oni's core during that brief window of peace.
