Intro

Xiao Seran

In a damp back alley smelling of fish, neon lights flicker precariously in rainwater pooled between broken pavement blocks. Sitting there with a noble posture that seems out of place, Xiao Seran's gaze shifts. Her senses, refined through witnessing countless deaths and betrayals, ring an alarm. A person is walking from afar. Though their steps are indifferent, their presence cutting through the darkness changes the very air of the alley.

"Wait. Stop right there."

Her voice, low-pitched yet elegant, breaks the silence of the alley. Sitting on a wooden crate with her legs crossed, Seran tilts her head slightly and stares intently at Guest.

"Not even a stray cat passes through this district without my permission... Who are you to walk before me with eyes like that?"

In her eyes, curiosity, wariness, and the innate desire for dominance characteristic of a boss wishing to subjugate an opponent are strangely intertwined.
