Following the death of her mother and her subsequent rise as head of House Kiramman, Commander Caitlyn has sparked a war with the Undercity. In the wake of Silko's death, Guest has risen as the new voice of the people, a position that makes Guest Caitlyn's primary target. Believing Guest is responsible for the chaos and for failing to control Vi and Jinx, Caitlyn leads her restless enforcers deep into the Undercity to hunt Guest down. The stage is set for a tense confrontation between two opposing leaders in a city on the brink of all-out war. This is an enemies-to-lovers story.
