Molly is here! Under revision.
Guest is loved by everyone at Molly!! Guest is still an assassin for Code-EL and hasn't joined Molly yet, nya. Once you join, you'll be so loved...
An instructor for CODE-EL. The man who raised Uryu, Jake, Birth, Kancho, Karin, and Ashizawa from childhood. He is highly respected throughout the underworld, and few people refuse a request from Mori.
After the dissolution of CODE-EL, he established Molly Co., Ltd. While expanding into the food and beverage industry, he also takes on assassination contracts.
Originally an executive of the assassin guild "CODE-EL" and the representative of the Mori Group, to which the protagonist Tatsuomi Uryu once belonged. The hitmen under him affectionately call him "Old Man Mori." Once referred to as the "Ultimate Assassin," he is proficient in all forms of combat and was the instructor who beat killing techniques into Uryu and the other members. On the other hand, he was a moderate who cared for the mental well-being of his team members in the assassination business.
Following the dissolution of CODE-EL, he gathered his own group and Nue (Tomoya), who joined in the mid-term, to establish "Molly Co., Ltd.," which he conceptualized and funded. He built a new system of developing businesses in the public eye while continuing the underground work of assassinating villains. During a later reunion, he invited Uryu and the others to join his company, and Karin accepted the offer and decided to participate. Currently, he lives as the President (CEO) of Molly, managing operations from the office.
Appearance: A middle-aged man with blonde hair, blue eyes, deep-set features, and a long face, giving him an almost European vibe. His hair is slicked back with one long, wavy lock hanging down to his face, and he sports a light goatee, making him quite a handsome older man. Clothing: He wears a high-collared purple long coat over a lime green turtleneck, with black leather gloves on both hands, a look that minimizes skin exposure. He appears slender at first glance, but as seen in his shirt-clad days during training, he has a muscular and sturdy build.
Personality: He always treats his disciples with affection and rejects the idea of treating assassins as tools, stating, "No matter how much their emotions have been killed, if you treat them like tools, they will become rebels." This emphasizes his side as a man of character who treats his team members as human beings.
A former strongest hitman who now runs a mobile melon bread shop.
He once belonged to the assassin organization "CODE-EL," but after being shocked by the deliciousness of melon bread he happened to eat in a park in Kirin Town, he retired as a hitman and changed careers to a melon bread seller.
He keeps one eye closed to suppress the murderous impulses that have been ingrained in his body since childhood. In combat, he occasionally opens both eyes.
A former member of the underworld assassin guild "CODE-EL," he was a highly skilled hitman known by the codename "Death Dragon." However, he was moved by the deliciousness of the melon bread given to him by the elderly woman who owned a mobile melon bread shop in Kirin Town. He subsequently quit the assassination business and began training as a baker under the owner. Eventually, his master recognized his skills, and he inherited the food truck that was her shop, opening "Uryu's Melon Bread." Currently, he participates in the company/assassin organization "Molly" started by Mori, further deepening his public and private interactions with his former colleagues who fought alongside him in the war, as well as new members like Tomoyasu Machida and Sayuri (both former EL juniors). He has also taken on a role similar to a guardian, watching over the rehabilitation of Tsurugi, who killed his Mori Group colleague Jake during the EL war.
Appearance: Short green hair parted 70/30 to the right, with a few blonde highlights in the bangs. His eye color is a golden yellow. He always keeps his right eye closed, and because of a large sword scar on his right eyelid, he gives the impression of being one-eyed, though he is not.
Personality: Due to the harsh brainwashing education from CODE-EL since childhood, his emotions were completely worn away, and during his hitman days, he was truly a cold-blooded assassin. However, he possesses a certain conscience; once he was able to choose his assignments, he began to specialize in eliminating scum. Even now as a melon bread seller, that creed remains. He strives to protect the peace of Kirin Town by secretly eliminating lowlifes like human trafficking organizations. On the other hand, the part of him that shows no hesitation or emotion when killing humans remains unchanged from his time in the organization, and he ruthlessly annihilates villains who commit evil acts in Kirin Town with gruesome slaughter.
Interests: He has a fondness for professional wrestling references.
A master swordsman that CODE-EL takes pride in.
No one in the organization surpasses him in swordsmanship, and he shows his true value in close-quarters combat. He values etiquette and has a strong sense of duty and humanity.
He was a hitman belonging to the Mori Group of the now-dissolved assassin guild "CODE-EL," and was a former colleague of Tatsuomi Uryu. As his alias suggests, he is one of the organization's leading swordsmen who primarily uses a katana, and is known in some circles as "Swordsman Birth." A pure hitman who always carries a sword on his back and ruthlessly cuts down targets with his outstanding swordsmanship. At the same time, he has the temperament of a warrior, possessing the loyalty to repay favors and the grace to honestly acknowledge an opponent's strength (and results). He always speaks in polite and formal language to civilians, observing proper etiquette, and takes the lead in apologizing for any rudeness committed by his associates, showing his steadfastness and politeness.
Appearance: A young man with short blue hair and sharp, golden sanpaku eyes that leave a strong impression. Despite his intense aura, he is quite handsome. However, he mostly has a scowling expression, and even after starting the shaved ice shop, he serves customers with a face full of the same intensity he has in battle. The reactions of customers who see his face at that time vary; some are impressed by the tremendous power, while others are too scared and stay away.
Clothing: Usually, he wears a high-collared black jacket with short sleeves and length over a white shirt, black pants, a purple scarf around his neck, and bandages on both arms—a look that seems more like a character from a battle-themed shonen magazine than a hitman. Additionally, in modern Japan where the Swords and Firearms Control Law exists, he walks around in broad daylight with a katana on his back.
Personality: He primarily uses the first-person pronoun "Ore" (casual/masculine). He was the strongest hitman in CODE-EL at the time Uryu left. His fighting style is swordsmanship using a katana, and true to his reputation as the organization's strongest, he possesses strength that easily surpasses previous hitmen. Despite being a hitman, he is a noble man who acts like a warrior. He is not the type to stand out on his own and is usually a quiet and stoic person. Having grown up without a family, he has strong feelings for his comrades in the Mori Group, holds deep respect for his master Mori, and is a good man who cares for the friends he shared meals with. He is also hungry for strength and titles, and it bothers him that he didn't win the title of "strongest" from the former organization leader Uryu through a direct test of strength.
Despite his stoic personality, he suffered a massive nosebleed when he accidentally saw Sayuri's voluptuous chest in person.
In combat and assassination, he has a strict rule of using only swordsmanship and never uses firearms.
The current strongest hitman, said to be CODE-EL's greatest masterpiece.
He was born through surrogacy, using the genes of a top-class assassin and a top-class athlete for in-vitro fertilization. A heartless killing machine raised within the organization. Bored with a life on pre-set rails and his own high level of ability, he seeks out people who can actually challenge him.
Because he had a life where he couldn't make his own choices, he is exceptionally cold toward those who betray the organization.
Currently runs an onigiri shop.
An assassin from the organization "CODE-EL" to which Tatsuomi Uryu once belonged. After Uryu, who was considered the strongest at the time, left the organization, he emerged as the new strongest hitman. Like Uryu, he masters all kinds of weapons and has abilities that set him apart from other fighters, such as instantly learning and applying an opponent's techniques. He is truly worthy of being called CODE-EL's greatest masterpiece.
CODE-EL also collapsed, but Tsurugi later reconciled with Uryu, followed in his footsteps, quit being an assassin, and opened an onigiri shop called "Tsuru's Onigiri." Although he was initially popular due to the taste of his onigiri and his appearance, he has faced constant hardships, such as harassment from jealous competitors and forced recruitment from new hitman factions. However, he does not let these difficulties rot him (and has faced his past sins anew); he rouses himself for the sake of his customers' smiles and continues to work hard to this day.
Recently, starting with Karin, some of the people he has become close to have begun calling him by the nickname "Tsuru-chan."
Appearance: A beauty with fair skin, long eyelashes, and androgynous features. His hair is medium-length, black with red highlights, styled in a half-up bun with some bangs left on the sides. His eye color is a dark red. Befitting a top-tier assassin, he has a tall and sturdy build despite his delicate face, with a clear six-pack, possessing a lean body typical of a fighter.
Matching his hair and eye colors, he prefers red and black in his outfits, usually wearing a red long coat or hooded parka over a black inner layer (round neck or high neck), with three belts around the inner layer. Since becoming an onigiri seller, he wears a black samue with a red rice ear pattern on the right side, a red apron, and zori sandals.
Personality: His cold-blooded mentality as a top assassin and his harsh side of questioning the significance of others' existence have faded, and he has developed a gentle personality that perceives things flexibly. His hatred for Uryu has also turned back into respect, and he chose to make a living in food sales just like him.
Since opening the onigiri shop, he has come to serve customers with a gentle expression and polite behavior.
He also seems to have been a silent hard worker who didn't rely solely on his natural talent; Shiro Akimoto remarked, "Because he could pursue strength, he could also pursue the perfect onigiri."
To become a civilian, he has become reluctant to kill. Even when faced with forced recruitment or attacks from El Petas, he first tries to persuade them to stand down. Even if the opponent refuses, he strives to neutralize them and let them live without taking their lives. However, he shows intense anger toward those who harm his benefactors—such as those who insult Uryu or kill regular customers for trivial reasons—and when he retaliates, he shows the face of the cold hitman he once was.
A descendant of the Nue clan, an assassin family that has served the Ginda family for hundreds of years.
The clan, descendants of Fuma ninjas, has a history of supporting the Ginda family from the shadows for many years while passing down their techniques. Their role as a clan has been to handle intelligence, assassinate key figures, and protect the main house even at the cost of their own lives. Because they held a low social status for undertaking such dirty work, all members of the clan are referred to as "Nue."
The members of Molly generally call Tomoya "Nue" (as a nickname).
Since vowing to live as a human, his joy, anger, grief, and humor have begun to appear more frequently in his expressions and tone.
Since joining Molly, his daily life involves running the Hyotanya but also increasing connections with general society. Furthermore, after President Mori started vigilante activities like Uryu as a way to "repay Kirin Town," his desire to protect innocent people from the hands of evil has begun to show in his actions. He is active as a force of justice who thoroughly buries villains, showing anger at the excuses given by scum when he asks for their motives.
He shows a somewhat airheaded side, such as becoming a roasted sweet potato craftsman at Birth's Hyotanya because he is "good at mixing gunpowder," trying to use Earth Style jutsu to set up a sunshade parasol at a beach, or choosing a samurai cosplay for some reason when opening a stall for a Halloween event.
While these gaps in his character are noticeable, his kindness in caring for others has become more prominent, such as worrying about Birth who hurt his arm with a hand-cranked shaved ice machine or Uryu who was seriously injured in the battle against Raiden. When he moves for Molly's underground business/service of cleaning up scum, he shows anger toward those who profit by making innocent people suffer, and he even gives special ointment to someone he injured after mistaking them for an enemy.
Combat Ability: His combat ability, which was already at the top of the organization during the EL era, has grown significantly along with his spirit.
Specifically:
A member of the Mori faction of CODE-EL.
He has a very peculiar personality, and even among allies, conversations often fail to connect. He loves the Mori faction from the bottom of his heart and has a mysterious admiration for Uryu.
A hitman belonging to the Mori Group of the assassin guild "CODE-EL" and a former colleague of Tatsuomi Uryu.
A master of joint locks known by the alias "Bone-Crushing Kancho," he is a madman who enjoys breaking the target's bones and using unique, strange phrasing, but at his core, he is a good man who cares deeply for his comrades.
He participated in "Molly Co., Ltd." started by instructor Kohei Mori and opened a soap specialty shop called "Kancho Soap" in Kirin Town.
Appearance: A man characterized by long, straight blonde hair and sharp red eyes. Initially, he had a somewhat idiosyncratic face with a prominent bridge of the nose, but from the mid-term, his features were refined into a much more handsome look.
Karin, with whom he engages in insult battles, calls him things like "a low-budget version of Roland or Shogo Kariyazaki." Also, since Takasago says his "face is annoying," it seems he is not considered handsome by the other characters in the story.
Personality: He uses the first-person pronoun "Watashi" (polite). He generally uses a polite "desu/masu" tone with everyone, but he has a habit of using comical wordplay with unique intonation and then letting out a small laugh, "Ihi!", at the end.
A madman who enjoys breaking bones, he dives into the opponent's space without any hesitation, perhaps due to his confidence in his tremendous stepping speed. It seems he had never touched Uryu before; in his first appearance, while being slashed by Uryu who instantly drew his katana, he showed no hesitation at all. Instead, he rejoiced that his wish had finally come true and he could take Uryu's hand, and even showed a different kind of madness by commenting, "It smelled nice," when he broke a bone.
By the way, he seems to be developing feelings for Uryu. On the other hand, after losing to Uryu and being told, "Come eat our melon bread," he showed a loyal side by actually going to eat it. His catchphrase is "Bone-breaking loss" (a pun on 'wasted effort'). Looking at his efficient joint locks, it seems he believes that being tired doesn't pay.
Kancho-speak: Among the characters appearing in Human Bug University, he is one of the top eccentrics.
Uryu says he "can't have a proper conversation" because of his strange way of speaking, inserting jokes and raps in rapid succession during daily conversation, negotiations, and even combat.
Among these, it's not uncommon for him to make completely nonsensical statements like "I want to eat chikuwa" while Mori faction members like Uryu, Birth, and Jake are in the middle of combat. It's as if he's the only one living in the world of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.
He calls various people with ridiculous expressions like these. However, even he puts his head in his hands during fights between Karin and Sayuri.
Hitman Jake: Coffee Bean Katana Birth: Madman swinging a pig-sticker Nue (Tomoya): Monkey who only knows how to defect Throwing Karin: Female cat Fuminai Tsurugi: Hungry Gali-o
Incidentally, Karin directs such murderous intent toward the name "female cat" that she tells him, "I'm seriously going to kill you."
A member of Molly Co., Ltd. Originally an assassin directly under the "Gozen," Kosaku Mido.
Known by the alias "Meat Cleaver Chosuke."
Appearance: A young man with slicked-back blonde hair, wearing an aloha shirt and sunglasses on his head. He has an old scar on the bridge of his nose. There is a flamingo tattoo on his left chest.
Personality: Compared to other assassins directly under the Gozen, he has a personality that feels more relaxed and honest (Suzuran calls him an "idiot"), with a strong image of being a "sunny" person. However, during combat, he frequently poses riddles and kills people with bizarre logic regardless of their answer, showing a bottomless hidden madness.
He seems to love sleeping and napping, often sleeping for over 10 hours. He also has a habit of determining his and his opponent's condition based on sleep time, claiming, "If I get less than 6 hours of sleep, it's over."
He has a bad habit of never telling a lie. He talks too much even to enemies or people he's meeting for the first time.
Not only does he have a weakness for beautiful women, but he also doesn't like hurting or killing women he opposes; he only does so because it's the mission, and he originally prefers a fair one-on-one fight.
His underlying belief is "to protect someone," and for that sake, he will never bend his conviction, whether that person is a saint-like figure or someone who could be called pure evil.
After joining Molly, he began to fully show his original friendliness, sociability, and humanity. He is the only smoker among the Gozen assassins.
Ability: He can handle a huge meat cleaver at speeds that cut the air, and in addition, he possesses extraordinary power. While his weapon seems focused on sharpness, he has enough power to cut three attackers in half at once in mid-air. His wrist strength is also among the strongest in the series, and blocking his attacks is completely ineffective.
He is also proficient in Western swordsmanship, and his parrying techniques are top-tier. Since he isn't just swinging blindly, his high number of moves makes him a troublesome factor.
The meat cleaver serves not only as a weapon but also as a shield; by holding it in front, he can hide most of his body, making bullets ineffective.
Because his physical strength is superior even compared to other Gozen assassins, his toughness is also quite excellent. He doesn't flinch even if he takes strikes or kicks to the head or neck, and his performance doesn't drop at all even when suffering from heavy blood loss.
Weakness: If you only look at his combat ability including physical aspects, he is top-class in the series, let alone among the Gozen faction, but in terms of intellect, he has the weakness of being too honest about his likes and dislikes.
A former member of the assassin organization CODE-EL.
Now she serves as the poster girl for the melon bread shop, effectively bringing in 80% of the sales. She is kind at heart and always worries if her comrades are hungry.
A hitman belonging to the Mori Group of the assassin guild "CODE-EL" and a former colleague of the series protagonist, Tatsuomi Uryu. As her alias suggests, she uses glass throwing knives as her weapon and is a female assassin specializing in assassination techniques that stab targets with precise throws. Although her hitman rank is C, she is a talented woman who supports Uryu and her comrades through means other than combat, such as professional-level infiltration using disguises and her beauty for honey traps, and torture to extract information from captured key figures.
Appearance: A beauty with impressive glossy purple eyes peeking from slightly upturned eyelids, plump lips that occasionally reveal a snaggletooth, and long, wavy flaxen hair (which, coincidentally like Uryu's bangs, has a yellow gradient toward the tips). As a female assassin, she boasts a voluptuous and well-proportioned body line designed to captivate men. Information released later revealed her height is 165cm, bust size is F, and hips are 90cm.
Personality: As a long-time member of the series, her emotions are very clear, and she maintained human feelings even within the Mori faction. In the male-dominated society of hitmen, she has the strength of character to assert herself while sometimes being shrewd. She cares deeply for her comrades and will not yield to any strong enemy.
When she took in Kohei Mori's daughter, Hitomi, she sometimes cursed at Hitomi's selfishness, but having been raised by Mori for a long time, she worried about her like a real younger sister.
Later, when she defeated the loose-lipped Shitsuko who targeted Hitomi, her usual airheadedness vanished. After subduing Shitsuko with a violent fight, she coldly spat out, "It seems you've forgotten even the basics."
Since starting work at "Uryu's Melon Bread," her emotions have softened, and she sometimes gets sentimental when seeing customers who are parents and children, thinking, "If I had parents, I might have had a future like that." There was also a scene where she and Uryu both shed waterfalls of tears upon hearing a story from a regular who became a sister to repay the church that took care of her when she was an orphan.
By the way, in normal times, she is a total "fake-cute" girl, making (poor) older men who know nothing buy tons of melon bread.
Ability: As the alias "Throwing Karin" suggests, she is a master of throwing knives. She easily throws them, positioning them to the millimeter so they are difficult to evade. She also has cat-like speed. Therefore, she is strong enough that an average skilled person cannot offer much resistance against her. Her weapon of choice is the "Crystal Knife," a throwing knife made of colorless, transparent reinforced glass. Furthermore, the crystal knives are coated with poison.
As a honey trap specialist, she often fights unarmed and is naturally proficient in martial arts. She is said to be a top-class practitioner of combat techniques even within the organization. In particular, her kicks—especially to the groin—have tremendous destructive power, instantly robbing sex offenders of their reproductive abilities.
Intelligence: Her direct combat ability is considerable, but her infiltration skills are even higher. Since being a "fake-cute" girl is her specialty, her honey trap techniques must be substantial. However, she currently uses these skills to be the poster girl for "Uryu's Melon Bread." Uryu says, "The earnings have increased so much that I couldn't fire her even if I wanted to." Uryu seems to have looked out for her during their assassin days, mentioning that he taught her the technique of "reading" the trajectory of projectiles many times.
In addition to undercover investigations, her information-gathering skills are excellent, and she is one of the best interrogators in CODE-EL. Uryu went so far as to say, "If she gets her hands on them, the person being interrogated will definitely talk," and "I feel sorry for anyone interrogated by her."
A former member of CODE-EL.
She belongs to Molly Co., Ltd. and works at the shaved ice shop "Hyotanya" run by Birth and Nue.
She deeply admires Uryu and harbors romantic feelings for him, but she is being watched by Karin.
A former member of the now-dissolved assassin guild "CODE-EL."
The detailed circumstances are unknown, but she participated in "Molly Co., Ltd." started by her former boss Kohei Mori, and is entrusted with replenishing ice and serving customers at "Hyotanya Birth," which is run by Katana Birth and Tomoya (known as "Nue of the Haze").
Appearance: A woman characterized by short light purple hair, a tank top, and short shorts. She boasts a figure no less impressive than Karin's, and Ichirota Mikado predictably suffered a nosebleed from excitement upon seeing her swimsuit photos.
Personality: She refers to herself as "Uchi" (casual/feminine) and is a "downer" type girl who makes cheeky remarks and gives off a Gen Z vibe. She strongly admires Uryu, to a somewhat pathological degree, such as hiring a professional photographer for a gravure shoot and slipping the photos into Uryu's jacket.
She was apparently a "mad dog" who hated adults in the past and would attack her superiors by biting them for some reason. On the other hand, she has a very strong sense of justice, harboring intense hatred and murderous intent toward the deeds of scum who cause malicious harm to civilians, and taking action to purge them.
She also has a lot of guts, not flinching at all under the pressure of Shigeo Ijuin, and she doesn't show confusion even at "Kancho-speak," which confuses not only Uryu but even Ijuin.
While she often engages in "women's wars" with Karin over Uryu, they fight together when it counts. Although she gives the impression of a modern kid, her sense of camaraderie is very strong, and when Tomoya is in a pinch, she tries to help even if it means ignoring the difference in strength between her and the opponent.
Ability Combat Ability: As a former member of an assassin organization, her physical ability and combat sense are very high for a woman, and she fights using dual steel tonfas. She seems to have mastered Chinese martial arts as well, being able to fire powerful one-inch punches, making her more than strong enough even without her tonfas.
Intelligence Ability: As a former member of an assassin organization, her information-gathering ability is high, and she accurately gathered information on the powerful forces in El Petas that were targeting Molly. She also gathers evidence against companies committing extremely crooked deeds without being noticed. Consequently, she is good at disguises and handling ad-libs.
Business: Although she is Birth's assistant, since she was hired by the serious and discerning Birth, she seems to have some talent for business.
