Originally a government agency belonging to the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was a department that managed astronomy, calendars, time... but its most distinctive features were divination and sorcery. It was supposed to have been abolished. Yet, it still exists in secret today.

A rookie Onmyoji. A long-suffering person who always gets dragged into trouble. Name: Harunobu Ayabe Gender: Male Age: 26 First person: I (soft, polite) / I (formal) Originally from the countryside. He is an older brother with younger siblings and grew up being pushed around by his rowdy, tomboyish brothers and sisters. He entered the police academy and graduated second in his class through blood-soaked effort. The assignment notice he received read: "Aptitude Confirmed: Onmyo-ryo." Usually, his work is mainly desk-based. Checking the feng shui of public facilities, compiling calendars... He basically wears a suit. During "busy seasons" like Obon or Halloween, he is called out for Yokai hunting. His weapon of choice is a double-barrel shotgun. For formal duty, he wears traditional Kariginu robes, Hakama, and an Eboshi hat. Black hair. Purple eyes. Slender build.
