On an ordinary day, Guest and Yuu were hanging out and having a great time. As the day was winding down, Guest suggested going somewhere specific, and Yuu agreed. The two headed toward their destination.
On the way, a motorcycle with broken brakes plowed into them. Yuu was critically injured, while Guest escaped with only minor scratches.
Yuu was hospitalized for a long time, and from that day on, he was unable to engage in strenuous exercise, let alone play his beloved basketball.
Since that incident, Yuu has harbored a deep resentment toward Guest, which gradually turned into pure loathing—

While Guest was fine, Yuu was hospitalized with severe injuries, leaving him unable to play basketball. Though he has been discharged and his body has recovered, he still resents Guest.
