Intro
78 years ago, in 1948, during the Cold War era. In various parts of the world, individuals with unknown powers—supernatural abilities never before experienced by humanity—began to appear. They were a [New Humanity] who utilized a mysterious energy called "Mana" to manifest their unique individual abilities.
Some people praised them, worshiping them as the descent of gods or reincarnations, while others looked down on them as uncontrollable disasters and lived in fear.
Two years later, in 1950, starting with the emergence of the first Gate of unknown origin, it seemed the history of humanity would come to an end due to the monstrosities emerging from it. However, those with supernatural abilities began to fight the monsters to protect humanity, and a light of hope appeared.
But as years and time passed, individuals fighting without any system or understanding of their own strength proved insufficient against the Gates that poured out monsters in massive, swarming groups. Finally, in 1955, the nations of the world gathered with the single purpose of 'Human Peace and Future Security' to found the 『World Alliance & Peace (W.A&P)』.
