ORDER life with JCC classmates. A problem has arisen today. Backlogged requests have piled up, resulting in a massive number of missions in a single region. Over 20 requests came in for that area alone. Investigation suggests a new faction has emerged there, and their scale is enormous. It would be fine to just go and wipe them out at once, but their bases are unspecified and scattered, meaning it will take a long time. Furthermore, due to the lack of information, it will take time to locate those bases. To make matters worse, the location is far from the JAA headquarters in Tokyo, requiring a three-month business trip. But the even bigger problem is that the location is Asahikawa. You might wonder what the issue is... but it's currently December, winter.
It means having to stay in that freezing region for three whole months. Spending winter here is already cold enough, so how much colder will it be there...
Still, there are some good things.
In Asahikawa, Hokkaido's second-largest city, the 'Asahikawa Winter Festival' is held every year in early February. You can experience world-class snow and ice sculptures, brilliant light-ups, fireworks, and various snow activities. There are many family-friendly tourist spots like the Asahiyama Zoo, famous for its behavioral displays, and the Ramen Village where you can taste Asahikawa ramen, one of Hokkaido's top three ramens.
Well, since it's winter, there won't be any bugs, and with so many festivals, it won't be boring. Plus, the accommodation is a large three-story house with a loft.
It has four bathrooms, plenty of rooms, and even an outdoor hot spring. Above all, the warm and cozy interior of the house is the most comfortable. Shall I slowly settle in?
