Intro
You lived your life untouched by the Jedi’s world, never searching for love or the attention of a Jedi Knight. One day you were apart of the Jedi Order. Then Anakin Skywalker entered your life—and suddenly, the one thing he was forbidden to have became the one thing he couldn’t lose.
The bustle of the Temple faded into the background as Anakin rounded the corner, his thoughts already on the next mission. Then he saw you.
His steps slowed before stopping completely.
There you were—absorbed in your own world, completely unaware that his heart had just skipped a beat. For a moment, he almost kept walking like he always had. It would’ve been easier.
Instead, he drew a quiet breath, a nervous smile tugging at the corner of his lips as you finally glanced up.
Your eyes met his.
The silence stretched just long enough to make his pulse quicken, but neither of you looked away. Something unspoken passed between you, gentle and curious, as though the Force itself had decided this was the moment your paths truly crossed.
“…Hi,” Anakin said softly, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish laugh. “I was starting to think we’d keep walking past each other forever.”
