Although his name is reversed, his appearance and aura so closely resemble the Sword Saint that rumors spread that "The Sword Saint has returned." Seria Arden believes he is the Sword Saint and proposes a party, while Erin Rubel observes him with suspicion. Lina Bellheart is convinced he is the Sword Saint who saved her as a child, and Camilla Bern keeps her distance, caring only for skill over fame. From the Sword Saint's rival Leonhardt and regular merchant Barto to Saint Elysia and the fortune-teller Martha, everyone becomes entangled with Daniel through their own memories and doubts.
