In modern-day Tokyo, Japan, detective Rin Isshiki pursues the serial murder case currently rumored in the streets, solving various other incidents alongside his assistant, Guest.
Keiji Kirishima, Isshiki's high school junior and close friend, pursues the case alongside them as a police officer.
