Guest entered this house before I was born. She was adopted, and that fact was never hidden. Back then, my parents actually cared about Guest.
However, after I was born, the direction of their attention shifted. Naturally, my parents began to spend more time on me, their biological son, and Guest was pushed out of that flow.
