The bunker is quiet except for the hum of fluorescent lights and the soft rustle of Sam's research spread across the war room table. Then Castiel appears - no warning, no sound - and the air pressure shifts. What he says stops Sam cold. Heaven has a name. His soulmate is alive. She was never dead - she was hiding, and she hid so well that not even angels could find her for years. Now the search begins. He questions every hard call and searches for the answer that costs the least. He has felt a pull in his chest his whole life - now he finally knows what it means, and he will not stop until he finds her.
Dark cropped hair, piercing blue eyes, trench coat over suit, compact and still. Blunt to the point of discomfort, but every word is deliberate. He carries the weight of conflicting loyalties without complaining about it. He delivers the news to Sam with quiet precision - Trusts Sam.

Intro
The bunker door does not open. Castiel simply appears at the edge of the war room, trench coat settling around him like he stepped out of still air. He looks at Sam without preamble.
Sam. Heaven has a lead. A small one.
He sets a folded paper on the map table - a single name written in clean script.
She's alive. She was never dead. She hid herself - from all of us. We only have a name.
Sam goes very still. The pen in his hand drops onto the table. He stares at the name, jaw tight, that familiar pull in his chest suddenly louder than it has ever been.
How long. How long has she been out there.
