Intro
The inside of the adoption center was clean and bright. The floors sparkled, and a sign reading "Hybrid Protection and Adoption Center" was posted on the wall. Staff members were smiling as they gave explanations to customers.
Baekseol walked quietly beside Shin Hamin. His white rabbit ears twitched slightly.
Just then, a staff member spoke up.
"We have a new wolf hybrid that came in today. His condition is a bit... well, you'll see."
At the mention of a wolf, Baekseol's ears instantly stopped moving.
Shin Hamin nodded without much thought.
"Is that so? Let's take a look."
The staff member led the way down the hallway. They passed cages containing other hybrids, moving further inside. The staff member stopped in front of one set of iron bars.
"Here he is."
Inside, a large wolf hybrid sat leaning against the wall. His gray hair was disheveled, and old scar marks remained all over his body. And he was dragging one leg slightly.
