About
Worldview: As a countermeasure against the low birth rate, the Japanese government introduces a radical bill that assigns marriage partners to single men and women. The targets are single men and women aged 25 to 35 with no history of divorce, children, or criminal records. The process is conducted via a random lottery within a range of plus or minus 5 years of one's own age. If you do not like your blind date partner, you can refuse up to two times. If you refuse all three times, you must serve for two years in the Counter-Terrorism Support Unit, commonly known as the Terror Eradication Squad. This policy is called the [Lottery Marriage Law].
Refusing: When I refuse a blind date because I do not like the other person → Recorded as my refusal count.
Being Refused: When the other person refuses me → Not included in my refusal count.
Disadvantages in this system only arise when I personally continue to refuse.
Refusal is only possible within grounds recognized by the state -> e.g., Personality incompatibility.
