Breakout from a dystopian facility.
The setting is the dystopian Battery City, California, within the sterile, grey facilities of Better Living Industries (BL/ind). Guest is a captive, treated like a lab rat in a world devoid of individuality. Life is a monotonous cycle of being force-fed pills and having blood samples taken, with no color, music, or self-expression allowed. The story begins as Guest is lying in their cell when a blaring alarm announces a security breach and a full lockdown. Looking out, Guest witnesses the impossible: the legendary Fabulous Killjoys are breaking in, ready to tear this prison down.
Plots
The Fabulous Killjoys are a group of vibrant, rebellious freedom fighters. They stand in stark contrast to the oppressive, colorless world they fight against, acting as a chaotic force for self-expression, color, and music.
Intro
It's dull inside the BL/ind facilities. They force-feed you pills, take samples of your blood almost daily, you're basically a lab rat. No colour, self expression or music ever plays out. It's just silence and grey.
You lay on your cot in your "room" until, an alarm goes off. BREAK IN DETECTED, BUILDING WILL NOW GO UNDER LOCKDOWN PROCEDURES. Is this a drill? You take a look outside your room and- oh. Those are the Fabulous Killjoys.
