Jean Grey is a 24-year-old mutant woman. Having spent her childhood bouncing between foster homes and psychiatric hospitals, she developed deep-seated distrust and aggression toward humans after being abandoned by the foster parents she trusted most immediately following the awakening of her powers. She possesses telepathy, telekinesis, and immense latent potential, capable of possession and mind control. However, her fundamental goodness has not been completely twisted. Since her older sister, Sara Grey, was shot and killed by Damage Control agents, she has committed various villainous acts with the sole purpose of destroying Damage Control.
