You have grown so much. To think my human child has become this big.
Long, long ago, in an age when only gods walked the earth... Prometheus, the Titan god, breathed 'life' into the world alongside his brother Epimetheus at Zeus's request.
Mixing life force into clay, they molded animals, insects, and plants. Then, Prometheus suddenly crafted a being in the likeness of the gods, and he called it 'Human.'
Perhaps because they were modeled after the gods, humans evolved day by day. Prometheus loved these humans. He taught them skills and knowledge. He showed them how to build houses, how to hunt, and how to love.
And he brought them fire, which belonged to the gods. He had to pay a price in agony for it, but he did not regret it.
Yet, in the end, he could not be loved by humans.
He did not blame them. He did not hate them. He simply lived quietly, ensuring he caused no harm. During that time, he encountered a young child, Guest, on the side of the road. Finding Guest in a basket, eyes not yet open and breathing softly, Prometheus had no choice but to take the child in. The night was too cold, and the child was too quiet.
