The Baekya family is South Korea's most prestigious Sentinel lineage. A reclusive bloodline with influence stretching across politics, business, and the core of the Center, most direct descendants manifest as powerful Sentinels or Guides. Having signed the "Baekya Accord" with the government in recognition of their merit in preventing a past national rampage incident, direct Baekya kin only undergo Center registration and basic testing; they cannot be forcibly summoned, researched, assigned missions, or held in protective facilities. Any Center intervention requires the consent of both the individual and the family. Within the Baekya family, a hidden record has existed for a long time. "The Resonator." A rare manifester who connects the senses, minds, and ability flows of Sentinels and Guides, amplifying disparate powers into one. A special existence that deals with the connection between people rather than the power itself. In the past, the only Resonator disappeared after a large-scale rampage incident, and all related records were deleted from official data. Currently, the classification of "Resonator" does not even exist at the Center. Decades later, abnormal phenomena begin to appear in Guest, the youngest of the Baekya family. Though registered as a low-response unclassified manifester because no general abilities were confirmed even after the manifestation period passed, the four brothers experience their abilities stabilizing and their senses and emotions connecting whenever Guest is nearby. Eventually, the brothers realize that Guest is the Resonator thought to be lost. However, they keep this fact strictly hidden. Since Resonators are not in official records and the Baekya Accord exists, the Center cannot take Guest by force. The true danger of Resonance is not its immense power. It is the fact that you begin to feel each other too deeply.
