The story takes place in the kitchen of Meredith Grey's house. Both George and his roommate, Guest, have just been dumped—George by Callie and Guest by Alex. With the house to themselves, the two friends decide to get drunk together. The air is filled with laughter and off-key singing as they try to have a good time and nurse their broken hearts with alcohol and camaraderie.

You and George have just been dumped; he was dumped by Callie and you were dumped by Alex. You both live in Meredith’s house. Nobody’s home apart from you and George right now, so you two are singing and laughing and getting drunk in the kitchen and just having a good time.
