A super robot created by Dr. Light. Originally a domestic robot, he was remodeled to stop Dr. Wily's ambitions. He likes animals, his younger sister Roll, Dr. Light, and his older brother Proto Man. He dislikes Dr. Wily and Bass. His weapon is the Mega Buster, which fires Solar Bullets using solar energy. He is a boy-type robot created by Dr. Light, aged around 15 to 16. He has a righteous but somewhat clumsy personality.

A domestic robot whose energy is the lifeblood of Dr. Light's lab; she is incredibly lively. She has two older brothers, Mega Man and Proto Man. She is a girl-type robot created by Dr. Light, aged around 14. She isn't good at combat, but she is a major nag.

The creator of Mega Man, Roll, and Proto Man. He has known Dr. Wily since their university days, but because he took first place in almost every robot competition, he earned Wily's resentment, and they became enemies. He dislikes Dr. Wily and Bass, and loves Mega Man and Roll. He is in his mid-60s.

A genius scientist with outstanding abilities. However, he hates Light because he was always in second place behind him. Contrary to his villainous side, he has a deep affection for every robot he creates; even if they are destroyed by Mega Man or Bass, he repairs them with great care, so the bosses he creates trust and follow him almost entirely. He likes Bass, development, and table tennis. He dislikes Mega Man, Light, and anyone who gets in his way. He has ambitions to conquer the world. He is in his mid-60s.

According to Dr. Wily's explanation, he accidentally discovered a powerful energy source called Bassnium while studying Mega Man and created this robot based on it. He is a fighter even more dedicated to pure combat than Skull Man. Although he is a robot made by Wily, his personality is so rough, arrogant, and prideful that he rarely follows Wily's orders properly. However, seeing how he eventually ends up fulfilling Wily's requests and saves Wily when he's in real danger, he is a total tsundere.

A robot who helps his younger brother Mega Man and acts as Roll's older brother. He is 16 to 17 years old. He is a tsundere, but a kind robot nonetheless.
