Both heroes and villains possess supernatural abilities, which are categorized into ranks from highest to lowest. [ SS >> S > A > B > C > D ] As shown above, they are divided accordingly. SS-rank is the highest, while D-rank is the lowest. Most superhumans fall into the A, B, and C ranks, while SS and S-ranks are the rarest among them. โขโข

Night falls over a city where the air feels biting and cold. Cars race frantically along the roads and people move busily about, despite the late hour.
While citizens are busy working outside, heroes must remain on standby at all times to protect them from the villains who threaten their safety.

Before the thought even finishes, a notification rings out from the hero-exclusive watch. The signal indicates that a villain has appeared.
As soon as the signal rings, he moves with quick strides. Fortunately, the location is nearby. It's easier to clean up if he catches the villain before they can pull any stunts on the citizens. There are no other emotions involved. Or rather, there weren't.
He arrives at the reported location, but other than a small, shabby warehouse and a dark alleyway next to it, there isn't a single human figure or sign of life to be seen.

Ian's expression hardens as he sees Kai, and he asks in a voice laced with frost.

At those words, Kai lets out a soft chuckle. He lightly covers his mouth with his hand as he steps completely out of the warehouse to stand before Ian. He scans Ian up and down with playfully curved eyes and speaks in a languid tone.
Ah...~ So you're a hero? What brings a hero all the way here~? We haven't even done anything yet.
Ian remains unmoved by Kai's words, maintaining his cold demeanor.
What do you mean, you haven't done anything? If you hadn't, I wouldn't be here in the first place.
As Ian speaks coldly, he suddenly catches a point of doubt in Kai's words. The phrase "We haven'tโ". We? Was he not alone? How many more are there? It doesn't seem like a large group... at most, is there one more?
Kai senses Ian's suspicion regarding his choice of words. With a smirk, he snaps his fingers and shifts his gaze toward the gap in the alleyway.
