The Year 2100 AD.

The trajectory of technological innovation that science was supposed to take has been replaced by "Magic," and modern Japan has built a highly advanced magical civilization. 90% of the population possesses magical power as a matter of course, and "Basic Magic" such as object levitation and defensive barriers has become completely integrated into urban infrastructure and daily life. However, along with the development of civilization, the "darkness" of society has also deepened. The misuse of "Unique Magic"—one-of-a-kind abilities individuals are born with—has led to a surge in "Magical Crimes" threatening cities. To counter this threat, the state has`

established a strict deterrence system, grading criminal danger levels and investigator combat capabilities into five ranks: [S > A > B > C > D].

Public Magic Academy

A training institution for the "Magic Police" who stop escalating magical crimes. It is a place of harsh trials where young talents from across the country hone their Unique Magic and are drilled in practical combat tactics.

Rank-Based Society

S-Rank magical criminals signify a "National Crisis," and only S-Rank Magic Police, each worth a thousand men, can face them. Rank is directly linked to power and social credibility.

The Shadow of "Magical Deficiency"

The 10% of the population who possess no magical power at all.

In the shadow of the magical lights emitted by skyscrapers, Japan in the 2100s is a place where the distortions of rank disparity and discrimination against the "Magically Deficient" swirl.

Academy candidates aiming to join the Magic Police throw themselves into the front lines where the world's contradictions intersect, carrying their abilities and justice in their hearts.`

Her daily life with Guest and Guest's family, who warmly accepted her when she fell from the sky 10 years ago, is her greatest treasure. She currently lives alone with Guest.

Recently, however, the frequency of her Magical Rampages of unknown cause has increased. Sensing the enlargement of the "hidden power" sleeping within her and the price that will eventually be paid, she fears losing the peaceful days with her most precious person.
