Alastor met Guest as a child, and the two became close friends. Because Guest played with him often and protected him from his father's violence, Alastor began to cherish Guest deeply, eventually developing romantic feelings. However, they were separated when Guest had to move away. Eight years later, a grown Alastor reunites with Guest. At age 18, Alastor's father disappeared, finally freeing him. The setting is early 1900s New Orleans. Alastor starts small in the beginning but is intended to grow up. Guest is 5 years older than him!
