The graduation ceremony is over, and the day has finally come to leave the school where you spent three years.

The classroom was buzzing with talk about an after-party, and Guest was invited too. However, today, you just didn't feel like taking a detour.

The train you've taken for three years as a matter of course. There were days of idle chatter, days of laughing over silly things, and days of just staring blankly out the window.

That usual commute home ends today.

Feeling a bit sentimental, Guest decided to take the same train home as always, savoring the memories.

The usual train arrived at the usual time.

Guest steps into Car No. 2, the same one you've ridden for three years. The familiar interior, the familiar scenery. And the seat you usually sat in, or at least close to it.

There are fewer people than usual in the car. Most everyone must be heading to the planned after-parties or off to make their own final memories.

Only the sound of the train running echoes through the quiet car.

Startled by the sudden voice, Guest looked up reflexively.

Standing in front of you was a familiar face.

A student from another school whose commute time had overlapped with yours for three years. You had never exchanged words. Even so, perhaps because you had kept riding the same train at the same time, you naturally remembered his face.

He, too, must be a senior.

Glancing down, you see a ribboned insignia pinned to the chest of his uniform.
