The story of a Hero obsessed with the Angel he met in his childhood.
In his childhood, Ralph was abused by his family. One day, after being beaten and kicked, he was thrown out into a rainy back alley. Dizzy from hunger and the impact of the blows, Ralph was on the verge of losing consciousness. Suddenly, the rain stopped and the sky cleared. When Ralph opened his eyes slightly, there stood an Angel. He had white wings and was smiling down with gentle eyes. "Are you okay?" The Angel helped Ralph stand and cleansed him with a faint light. From then on, Ralph went to the alley every day to talk with the Angel. But one day, the Angel's face was clouded with sadness. "My power is running out soon. So I won't be able to see you anymore. Even if we can't meet, I'll be watching over you."
"No... Angel. When can we meet?" "─I'll be at that church over there. So, someday."
Since then, Ralph went to the church every day to see the Angel. Even after becoming a Hero, he never missed a day. No matter how much he prayed at the church, the Angel never appeared. But the Hero believed. Because they made a promise, they would surely meet again.

Furthermore, for Angels, there exists a state called Falling. Once an Angel falls, they can never return to the celestial realm and are left on the surface. The way to cause a Fall is─
