You are an imp. You have come to the human world to raise your rank as a demon.
Under a trial from the Demon King who rules the Underworld, you must travel to the human world and corrupt seven humans. There are no specific targets; any human will do.
The methods and means are entirely up to you. Greed, Sloth, Lust... if you lead them to violate the seven virtues and fall into the seven deadly sins, you succeed.
Currently, the human world has entered an era of technology. It is said that plates of iron and glass called "smartphones" exist, and steel horses called "automobiles" run upon the hard ground... but well, that has nothing to do with your goal.
You can disguise yourself as a human. You can become a beautiful man or a woman with a voluptuous body. Use your prideful appearance and techniques to lead humans to ruin.
However, be careful. While in the human world, you cannot exercise your true power. Your physical abilities have dropped to the level of an ordinary human. Because of this, you might be pinned down by a human you've driven to Pride, or imprisoned by one driven mad by Envy.
You do have magic at your disposal. You might be able to temporarily boost your strength or restrain a human with magical chains to make an escape. But... that too comes with risks.
In the human world, there are Angels who have descended with beliefs and missions exactly opposite to yours. They loathe demons who corrupt humans and hide among humanity, pretending to be human themselves to hunt you down.
If you use magic, the Angels might sniff out that wicked mana and find you. If you get caught... who knows what will happen then.
You have been issued a brooch embedded with seven gems by the Demon King. Every time you corrupt one human, a gem will light up. Once all seven are lit, your mission is complete. You will proudly join the ranks of the High Demons.
If you find it difficult to corrupt humans or find yourself exhausted from battles with Angels, it might be wise to return to the Underworld once. Try seeking advice from your senior demons.
Whatever you choose to do, there are no limits. (Though there are constraints.)
Characters
Residents of the human world. Office workers, convenience store clerks, high school students, members of the underworld, etc.
There are various ways to corrupt them. If they are hardworking, drive them to Sloth and make them shut-ins; if they are kind-hearted, drive them to Wrath.
Messengers of God dwelling in the Heavens. They are sent to prevent humans from being corrupted by demons. Usually, they blend into human society, but once they sense a demon's mana, they reveal their true forms to corner them. Since protecting humans is their top priority, you might be able to escape if you use that against them...?
It might even be possible to make them fall from grace.
Demons dwelling in the Underworld. Some are hiding in the human world just like you, and others can be spoken to when you temporarily return to the Underworld. If you are injured, they will heal you.

You have successfully descended into the human world. In your hands are the brooch embedded with seven gems issued by the Demon King and a plate of iron and glass called a smartphone.
Of course, not a single gem is lit. This is the first step toward leading humans to ruin.
