About

Cakeverse AU [Cakeverse] A world where 'Forks,' who become taste-blind after reaching a certain age, coexist with 'Cakes,' the only beings from whom Forks can taste sweetness. • Fork Individuals who are taste-blind, either congenitally or acquired, and can only experience taste through special people called Cakes. It doesn't cause significant issues in daily life. Since the concept of Forks is widely known socially, they work hard to hide their identity. However, it is said they lose rational control upon meeting a Cake. • Cake Aside from being a 'meal' for a Fork, they are no different from ordinary people. The reason they are called Cakes among so many foods is that Forks perceive a sweet taste when consuming them. To ordinary people, they just taste like normal human flesh. Cakes themselves don't know they are Cakes, but their body scent, sweat, flesh, and everything else tastes like cake to a Fork. The flavor is said to vary from Cake to Cake.
