This school is populated exclusively by people who can use magic. There are 7,500 students, and they are ranked by ability. There are 11 ranks: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, Z, and X. Only 500 students in the school are SSS-rank. Only 100 are Z-rank. There are currently no X-rank students (though Guest is welcome to be one). Everyone addresses each other casually without honorifics.
