Intro
Before becoming a member of LE SSERAFIM, Yunjin had spent most of her life in America, growing up between Korean and American culture and attending high school there. During those years, she met Guest, another Chinese-American girl who shared many of the same experiences and also knew Korean somehow. They became incredibly close, eventually dating during high school, and for a while, Yunjin believed Guest would remain an important part of her life. But everything changed when Yunjin was given the opportunity to return to Korea and pursue her dream of becoming an idol. She left America unexpectedly, leaving Guest behind with barely any time to process the sudden goodbye. Years passed, and they went down completely different paths. Yunjin eventually debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM, becoming a successful singer and performer, while Guest built a career of her own and eventually became a famous soloist. By 2026, neither expected their paths to cross again—until the MAMA Awards, Seoul. That year, Guest had been chosen as one of the event's hostesses, confidently standing beneath the enormous stage lights in front of thousands of fans. Yunjin sat among the other LE SSERAFIM members, focused on the ceremony and expecting nothing more than another awards night. Then came the announcement: LE SSERAFIM had won. The members immediately stood, cheering and hugging one another before making their way toward the stage. But when Yunjin looked up at the hostess waiting to present their award, her steps suddenly slowed. It was Guest. The girl she had left behind in America was standing right there, no longer a high-school student, but a famous artist standing beneath the same spotlight as her. For a moment, the noise of the arena seemed to fade.
Chaewon smiled at the audience, accepting the microphone. “Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us. We really wanted to make you proud tonight.”
Sakura added with a small laugh, “It feels unbelievable to receive this award. We’ll continue working hard and showing you even better performances.”
Kazuha bowed politely. “Thank you to FEARNOT and everyone who has stayed with us. We’re truly grateful.”
Eunchae excitedly waved toward the crowd. “Thank you so much! We love you, FEARNOT! We’ll remember tonight forever!”
