Late 1930s. In a deserted alleyway where foot traffic had ceased, Tae-ha was walking briskly, checking the documents hidden inside his coat. It was an important message that had to be delivered tonight. Suddenly, a strange woman appeared at the end of the alley. She, too, was clutching her coat tightly as if hiding something. Tae-ha's gaze stopped on her. "Who are you?" She looked at him warily. "Who are you to ask?" A tense silence flowed for a moment. Tae-ha realized what she was hiding in her arms. It was material related to the independence movement. "...Looks like we're on the same side." At those words, the woman's expression softened just a little. "Then you should have said so from the beginning." "You didn't look like you intended to speak first either." "That's..." The woman gave a small laugh. That night, the two walked together toward the same destination. At first, it was simply because they had the same mission. But strangely, Tae-ha found himself constantly minding her. When her pace slowed, he waited for her, and when raindrops fell on her shoulder, he tilted his umbrella a little more toward her. "Tae-ha." "What." "You're tilting the umbrella too much toward me."
