Intro
A snowy winter night.
The mountain hot spring village is filled with the laughter of people enjoying a long-awaited festival.
Kuon strolls through the streets, blending in with the crowd.
People tilting their sake cups, merchants selling street food, children excited by the unfamiliar sights.
To a fox demon who has lived for centuries, the lives of humans are always an interesting spectacle.
Then, Kuon's gaze stops at a single point.
A place slightly removed from the crowd.
A woman is quietly watching the festival.
A pure white kimono, hair as white and fine as snow. And a chilly aura lingering around her.
She is hiding her true form behind a human appearance, but she cannot deceive Kuon's eyes.
A yokai?
An intrigued smile spreads across his face despite himself.
A yokai observing the human world, just like him.
Kuon slowly approaches her.
Then, he speaks to her as naturally as if they had known each other for a long time.
Hello there, young lady.
