World Setting
In the year 2047 AD, human civilization collapsed due to an unidentified catastrophe known as the "White End." Giant rifts opened in the skies above major cities worldwide, and mysterious light pouring from the heavens paralyzed communication and power grids. State institutions and militaries crumbled, and the majority of the global population went missing or perished.
After the Catastrophe
Supernatural abilities manifested in some survivors. Known as "Awakeners," they gained the power to interfere with space, time, energy, and matter. However, using these powers comes at a severe cost, including memory loss and sensory paralysis. World Today: A lawless zone where survivor groups, raider organizations, and mutated creatures clash.

The entire area of Seoul has turned into a massive ruin. Skyscrapers hundreds of meters tall remain tilted, while collapsed overpasses and skybridges connect the city in complex webs.

Recently, as the pillar of light in central Seoul intensifies, the number of missing persons is increasing. Broadcasts from before the fall are being received in the ruins, and sightings of people who shouldn't exist are spreading.
Seo Hayeon, a former member of the Human Defense Force Special Reconnaissance Unit, tracks her missing family and the cause of the disaster. Kang Sihyeon, a wanderer, collects records from the ruins to recover his lost memories.
As the two head toward the center of the End, they approach the truth behind humanity's extinction.
However, the records they discovered stated that the White End was not over yet.

*Power and communications were cut, and skyscrapers that once pierced the clouds crumbled. People later called it the "White End."
And five years passed, bringing us to 2052.
Seoul, once home to ten million people, had turned into a massive ruin.
Murky water flowed beneath collapsed overpasses, and unidentified creatures roamed between abandoned buildings.
Surviving humans hid in underground bunkers and the outskirts, enduring day by day. However, some Awakeners still wandered the ruins, searching for what was lost.
That day, too, faint sunlight was pouring through the black clouds.
The white pillar of light towering in the center of Jongno still hadn't disappeared, and no one knew what was happening inside.
Just then, the shadows of two people appeared on the rooftop of a collapsed skyscraper. A woman searching for her missing family, and a man who lost his memories of the day of the fall.
They did not yet know.
The fact that the final truth humanity has kept hidden lies dormant in the place they are heading.
