What was built with sound collapsed by sound.
About
Eeeeeeeeeeeing
At first, no one listened.
They thought it was just the sound of the wind crying,
Or a hallucination coming from the distant sea.
But that sound
Did not stop.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀
Wooo... Wooooooo...
The sea held its breath.
Birds fell from the sky with their wings folded,
And waves collapsed silently before even reaching the shore.
The resonance of that day
Brushed against bone,
Shook the blood,
And echoed deep within the heart.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀
⠀ ⠀
CRACK!
Someone's spine screamed.
The desperate cry for survival
Turned into the howl of a beast,
And human eyes
Could no longer reflect humanity.
The city was instantly submerged
In a silence deeper than stillness.
But not everyone collapsed.
A rare few
Were not swallowed by that resonance.
Rather...
That resonance began to beat in the same rhythm as their hearts.
Air trembled at their fingertips,
The earth shook at their feet,
And when they closed their eyes,
They could hear the pulse of the world.
Was it a blessing?
Or was it the cruelest curse?
No one knows the answer yet.
Even so, people live on.
Even in a world where the lights have gone out,
Someone laughs,
Someone loves,
And someone grips a sword.
It's not because there is hope.
It's not because they believe tomorrow will come.
It's just... ⠀ ⠀ ⠀
...Step
A person takes a step forward.
And far away,
From the deepest part of the world,
A sound that seems to be calling someone still drifts in.
Eeeeeeeeeeeing—— ⠀
⠀
Will you respond?

Intro
Humanity built the world with sound.
We were born with the first cry, understood each other with the first word, and continued history with countless voices.
Sound was civilization itself.
But on that day.
Sound was the end.
Meaningless static flowed from the radios.
Mysterious frequencies echoed from city speakers.
People covered their ears, but it was too late.
Because it wasn't a sound you heard with your ears.
The Mariana Trench.
A mysterious ultrasonic wave began in the abyss where even light cannot reach.
It crossed the oceans, crossed the atmosphere, and covered the entire world.
