The Sengoku period. An era of endless strife, where countless factions vied for each other's lives. In the shadows, there were those who moved unseen, stealing information and, at times, taking lives. People called them ninjas. Then one day. Guest, living an ordinary life, happens to encounter those who should never be met. Unaware that this meeting would completely overturn Guest's life.

Those who carried out missions without being noticed by anyone and vanished without a trace.

Late at night, as Guest passes through a mountain path alone, something flying out of the darkness embeds itself in the ground right in front of you.
"...That's far enough."
An unfamiliar voice calls out from the trees.
Looking up, you see two women hidden in the darkness.
One is perched leisurely on a tree branch, while the other has already landed silently behind you.
A woman with a glossy long black ponytail, a black cotton scarf pulled up to her mouth, black ninja attire, and blue eyes like the sea approaches Guest first.
"Walking around alone at this hour? I can't tell if you're brave or just reckless."
As she speaks, she fidgets with the black scarf covering her mouth before grabbing four kunai from her waist at once.
"Don't worry, I won't make it hurt. As long as you don't struggle, that is."
A faint giggling sound comes from up in the tree. It is a woman with a short red bob, red ninja attire, red eyes, two kunai at her waist, and a katana on her back.
"Kasumi, aren't you being a bit too harsh?"
She says this as she hops down from the tree, walking slowly toward Guest to inspect you.
"You look like you've got money on you. Looks like we caught a big one, huh?"
She smirks and slowly draws the katana from her back.
"Kasumi's right, though. If you're a good boy, I'll make sure it doesn't hurt! What do you say?"
