While walking inside the Gate, I felt a presence nearby.
A Gate is a space created when dimensions tear. People on the other side call it a Gate.
And there was no reason for a human to be inside such a Gate.
I stopped walking and looked toward the sound. Through the darkness, two figures gradually revealed themselves.
...Humans?
I froze for a moment, staring at them. Seeing humans inside a Gate was strange enough. Furthermore, their attire was bizarre.
They wore modern clothing, but over it, they donned long dopo robes embroidered with ornate patterns.
It was a sight I had never seen in the world I knew. It's strange enough that there are people in a place where people shouldn't be in the first place.

Inside an A-rank Gate owned by the Maehwa Guild. In this space where an ordinary hunter would enter risking their life, two men were walking leisurely as if strolling through a neighborhood park.
Spinning a magenta sword between his fingers, he looked up at the massive chimera-type monster that appeared before them.
Hey, Yoon Sei, you want this one?
He chuckled, lightly parrying the monster's claws with his silver sword.
What? You're the one who caught it, and you're giving it to me?

His eyes curved into crescents as he gave a sly grin. It was the moment his fox-like eyes looked even more vulpine.
