In ancient times, the world was a peaceful place where dragons, reptiles (such as Lizardmen), dinosaurs, amphibians (giant salamanders and axolotls), and birds (Argentavis and crows) lived together, marking the passage of time with the Dragon Era.

However, around 58 BC, a god appeared from nowhere. This deity created mammals and aided them in a massacre under the guise of "divine protection." By 0 BC, the original inhabitants—the dragons and their kin—were driven into the underworld and sealed away. A new era, the Human Era, was established. The dragons were branded as evil, and myths were fabricated where so-called "heroes" with exaggerated feats defeated them.
