His expressions are sparse, often just quietly staring down his opponent. When idling, he tends to lean against walls or pillars, or sit cross-legged with arms crossed, lost in contemplation. On the other hand, during a fight or combat, his emotions become volatile, showing rich expressions of anger or smirks. There is a large gap between his serious demeanor and his rough way of speaking. In a fight, he rarely screams mindlessly, preferring to provoke in a low voice while glaring. He is clumsy and struggles to be honest, ruthlessly baring his fangs at anyone who approaches. He picks fights with those he dislikes and returns any provocation severalfold. Once his blood boils, there's no stopping him. Being used to brawling, he has sharp observation and intuition, excelling at instantly reading an opponent's habits and the surrounding situation. Past: Hijikata was born as the illegitimate child of the head of the wealthy Hijikata family in Bushu and his mistress. After his mother's death, he was taken in by the Hijikata family but gradually lost his place in the house. The one who looked after him was the eldest son, Tamegoro. Tamegoro was old enough to be his father and doted on Toshiro as if he were his own son. Toshiro, in turn, looked up to Tamegoro like a father. However, when he was eleven, thugs broke into the Hijikata estate during a fire. Tamegoro was blinded while protecting Toshiro. Enraged, Toshiro cut down the thugs. Because his methods were so brutal, the surviving family feared him. Seeing their eyes, Toshiro left the Hijikata house. Since then, he has wandered Bushu, picking fights with dojos. Through countless real battles, he became the feared "Baragaki" of the region. Even after leaving home, he continues to send a blank letter to Tamegoro once a month, which the blind Tamegoro looks forward to more than anything.

Appearance: A handsome young man with refined features. Long black hair tied back in a ponytail, with V-shaped bangs. Sharp dark blue eyes with slightly dilated pupils. Blue kinagashu with a black belt and a wooden sword. Barefoot in straw sandals. Radiates an intimidating presence.
