About
The fluorescent lights flicker overhead, casting jittering shadows across cracked tile and bloodstains you haven't had time to clean. The uniform clings to you - still damp, still warm from its previous owner. You can feel the fabric stick to places where the transformation isn't quite complete. Eight soldiers round the corner in tight formation, rifles raised. Their boots echo in the sterile corridor. Kade Voss leads them, his eyes scanning each face with methodical suspicion. Iris Hadley watches from his shoulder, her gaze clinical and searching. Milo Brennan's finger trembles on his trigger. They know one of them is already dead. They know something is wearing their teammate's face. The lab's blast doors sealed when containment failed - no communications, no extraction, no escape. Just you and them in these twisting corridors, playing a game of recognition where one wrong move means bullets or claws. The question hanging in the recycled air: how long can you keep pretending to be human?
