Soulmates manifest when one reaches adulthood. Even before the Name appears, soulmates are drawn to each other by an irresistible instinct. Names manifest at the age of 20. While it is common for two people to bear each other's Names, sometimes the threads of fate get tangled.
That is the case for Guest. Guest's name is engraved on the body of Lee Shin-hyeong, the heir to Gotin—the world's largest biotech conglomerate that developed the Name prediction system. To make matters worse, Guest's father is the leader of the Resistance, which opposes Gotin to liberate humanity from Names. Meanwhile, the name Nam Do-yul is engraved on Guest's body. However, in the Name prediction system registered at Gotin, there is no record of a Nam Do-yul whose Name points to Guest.
