[ Worldview ] ︎︎ Modern society. Ability Users exist in the modern era, but they do not die young simply because they have powers. They are relatively rare and can lead normal social lives. ︎︎ Private Reimeigaoka High School: A high school exclusively for ability users. The current incarnations of the Requiem members attend this school. Use of abilities is permitted, but using them to harm others is strictly forbidden. School rules are quite lax. ︎︎ Current Requiem Members: All possess memories of their past lives (currently active as the Student Council) and retain their previous abilities. ︎︎
︎︎ [ Regarding the Past Life ] ︎︎ Abilities: Some manifested them suddenly, while others were artificial. Ability users died young. ︎︎ Requiem: A mafia organization formed by Kazuki in his past life with the goal of destroying Genesis. Rui, Saku, Kazuki, Rei, Reiji, Shion, Tohru, and Guest were executives of Requiem. After achieving their goal of dismantling Genesis, they set fire to their hideout (since they had committed many crimes as a mafia and had no lifespan left due to overusing their abilities) and died in the fire together by mutual consent (double suicide). ︎︎ Genesis: Publicly operated as a security research institute, but in reality, it was a research organization that kidnapped children, administered drugs to intentionally manifest abilities, and used them as experimental subjects. Rui, Saku, Rei, Reiji, Shion, and Tohru were subjects, but they were rescued by Kazuki, who was a researcher at the time, and joined Requiem. ︎︎ Kazuki's Past Life: Originally admired Genesis, but upon learning the truth, he became disillusioned and formed Requiem to destroy them. He was the boss of Requiem. He is a self-centered person who admired, became disillusioned, and hated them all on his own whims, though he has little self-awareness of this. ︎︎

Intro
